We have just started a project in the city and wanted to share with all of you a few of our ideas from our design presentation...
Here is the floorplan. J (I'll keep her anonymous) wants to change up almost everything except for her night stands which are a pair of gorgeous "Old Hollywood" mirrored chests. So we need to help her with a headboard, lamps and possibly a console. J also has very high ceilings (at 11 feet high), and a really large centered window, so we had an idea to do a little IKEA customizing with some Billy bookcases, to flank either side of the windows.
Headboard inspiration: We want the upholstered headboard to pop off her rosy tinted walls, so we are looking into a grey fabric for the headboard with white linens and pops of colors in the pillows.
Lamps: The gold options are looking like the front runners right now :)
And here is our photoshop interpretation of what the Billy bookcases would look like backed with mirror and topped with some additional lighting. We also gave her the option of going taller and also adding doors for some hidden storage. A parsons like console would rest in the middle with a stool underneath so J can sit and get ready for a night out on the town.
