After walking many painful blocks in NYC last week, we finally found ourselves at The Aldyn Residences,
in the Upper West Side where the Kips Bay Showhouse was located. I decided to bring along my non decorator friend, it's always great for me to see other peoples reactions, what they relate to, ideas they may be open to, and designs that absolutely scare them away. Some of my favorite trends are painting the doors and trims a color rather than white as well as lacquered walls and ceilings. I enjoyed the rooms that focused on one bold color.
