Molly B. Right is a self-taught artist from Charleston, South Carolina, whose popularity and praise in the art world comes from her interesting medium of using recycled vintage bottle caps. I guess it's the designer in me but I just love texture that her art brings, I almost want to touch it. These portraits are usually huge in size and start off by an under drawing or painting of the subject. Then Molly carefully adheres the vintage bottle caps with impeccable craftsmanship so that no spots of glue can be seen. She then may use a glaze to further enhance the piece. Her current subject matter is based on her series "Jesus Saves" a collection of religious figures. However, she also does custom pieces! Ahhhh Someday...
