AMAZING POOL DESIGN!

No matter what, when you think you have seen it all there is always something else that is going to shock you. This pool over the entryway of its home (below) shocked the hell outta me. What an outstanding feature! Nobody will forget your home, EVER! I'm wondering if the owner thought of this concept, because if he did I'm sure he had a bunch of people calling him psycho. And look what happened! Sometimes the crazy ideas are the good ones. Enjoy your day everyone!

ROOM ON A BUDGET: $5,000 POWDER ROOM

After my parents finished renovating their loo, I was feeling inspired to take a more contemporary approach on bathroom styling. So I came up with this design, that is bright and fresh with a bit of whimsy and curiosity. I hope it will inspire you. And if you are on a budget, you will spend no more than $5,000. I know, it might be a bit hefty on the wallet for some, but I'm working on a more thrifty powder room design to come. So stay tuned!

CURRENT OBSESSION: BLACK AND GOLD

Black and gold, when done correctly, is a combination so rich and bold. Successfully done when the ratio is more black with pops of gold here and there. There is just something so attractive about the contrast between these colors, you can get this effect with accessories or be bold and invest in a large black buffet with gold hardware.
