I would say 5 years ago when someone suggested to decorate with peacock feathers one would picture a table of faux flowers and gaudy fake crystal confetti. But today the inspiring color palette of the peacock feather is coming back to wedding tables with real sophistication. The key is to think conceptually, and edit edit edit. Its like when you are getting dressed up for a crazy night out, don't add a necklace, earrings, a bracelet blah blah blah. Just add one great statement piece, that will really be the icing on the cake. ;)

Exquisite handmade peacock feather tablecloth. I would do a simple arrangement of white roses to keep the attention towards the tablecloth but still have some contrast. If you want to get a little crazy go for the bright pinks, just keep the arrangement monochromatic. Find the real deal at etsy.

There is just something about jewel tones...

This is just so Ralph Lauren to me, super sleek but still a nod towards traditional.
